Kuwait’s Emir and Prime Minister discuss results of his recent visit to Iraq; Kuwait’s UN rep expects no problem for Iraq

According to the Kuwaiti News Agency Kuna news service said Sunday that Amir receives Al-Seif Palace morning Prime Minister Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah for the results of the official visit to Iraq.

A Kuwaiti delegation headed by Prime Minister Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah has visited Iraq last Wednesday and signed several agreements and memorandums of understanding during the talks announced Iraqi and Kuwaiti officials asked their Governments at the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon interview and informed agreement of the two countries and that Iraq has implemented all the obligations imposed on it under Chapter VII as the resolutions of the Security Council and to request the Secretary-General of the United Nations communicated to the Security Council for lifting the terms of Chapter VII of Iraq.

The United Nations Secretary-General had telephoned Kuwait Emir and Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki on latest developments in alalakah between the two countries before the Iraq and Kuwait delegates in request Ki display output Iraq from Chapter VII, the Security Council.

According to the Kuwaiti Permanent Representative at the United Nations, the Security Council will consider the matter on June 27 and that he believed that the resolution will pass without any hindrance.

Relations between Iraq and Kuwait described positive developments over the past months, to finish the outstanding issues between the two countries, Iraq’s output of international sanctions imposed in section VII, by the UN Security Council.
